though it is only within my power to tell about my personal experience, and only a tiny fragment of it at that, it still represents, i believe, the root of a spirit which has been essential to me and to all the people bred by the past 15 years.
in my elementary years, there was a little girl in the class who worked very hard but somehow could never do satisfactorily in her lessons.
the teacher asked me to help her, and it was obvious that she expected a lot from me. but as a young boy, restless, thoughtless, i always tried to evade her so as to get more time to enjoy myself.
one day before the final exam, she came up to me and said, could you please explain this to me? i want very much to do better this time. i started explaining, and finished in a hurry. pretending not to notice her still confused eyes, i ran off quickly. nat surprisingly, she again did very badly in the exam. and two months later, at the beginning of the new semester, word came of her death of blood cancer. no one ever knew about the little task i failed to fulfill, but i couldnt forgive myself. i simply couldnt forget her eyes, which seem to be asking, why didnt you do a little more to help me, when it was so easy for you? why didnt you understand a little better the trust placed in you, so that i would not have to leave this world in such pain and regret?
i was about eight or nine years old at that time, but in a way it was the very starting point of my life, for i began to understand the word responsibility and to learn to always do my duties faithfully and devotedly, for the implications of that sacred word has dawned on me: the mutual need and trust of people, the co-operation and inter-reliance which are the very foundation of human society.
later in my life, i continued to experience many failures. but never again did i feel that regret which struck me at the death of the girl, for it makes my heart satisfied to think that i have always done everything in my power to fulfill my responsibilities as best i can.
1．根據聽眾對象，注意演講的總體措詞
演講的總體措詞是嚴肅一些還是活潑一些，是有較明顯的說教口氣還是用平等的口吻，等等，都要根據聽眾對象而定。如果場下聽眾是同齡的學生，那么演講的內容只要風趣一些往往就能引起共鳴。但另一方面，如果聽眾大多是上了年紀的教師，太多的笑料反而會被認為“不嚴肅”，“不尊重”，而引起反感。
用英語演講，不要用太多 i feel, i think，老是用i，顯得十分主觀，狹隘。如果通篇全是 i feel, i think 的內容，會給人覺得缺乏說服力。另外，perhaps, maybe 這樣的詞語，雖然有“客氣，謙虛”的成分，但太多會讓人覺得你演講的內容有不可靠之處。
還有，在演講中，要少用you，多用we。用you等于把自己與聽眾對立起來，而用we則拉近了與聽眾的距離。比如：you should not smoke．聽上去像教訓人，而 lets not smoke聽起來是一個不錯的建議。
2．演講要越短越好
英語演講應該簡潔扼要，直截了當。除非特別需要，一般不要采用中文中的那種迂回曲折的表達形式。據有關專家統計，一般人的注意力一次只能集中約13分鐘。所以，演講長度以10～15分鐘為宜。下面是美國總統林肯所作的著名的蓋茨堡演說，雖然全文只有短短200多個詞，卻帶有振奮人心、扭轉乾坤般的力量。其中 of the people, by the people, for the people(民有，民治，民享)已成為不朽佳句。對于中學生來說，這篇演講現在讀起來一定會覺得很難，但要寫好英語演講，這確實是值得認真研讀的經典之作。

3．英語演講稿的基本組成部分
從大的方面看，英語演講詞實際上是屬于一種特殊的說明文或議論文，其基本組成部分是：
1)開始時對聽眾的稱呼語
最常用的是 ladies and gentlemen，也可根據不同情況，選用 fellow students, distinguished guests, mr chairman, honorable judges(評委)等等。
2)提出論題
由于演講的時間限制，必須開門見山，提出論題。提出論題的方法有各種各樣，但最生動，最能引起注意的是用舉例法。比如：你要呼吁大家關心貧窮地區的孩子，你可以用親眼看到的或者收集到的那些貧窮孩子多么需要幫助的實例開始。另外，用具體的統計數據也是一個有效的引出論題的方法，比如：你要談遵守交通規則的話題，你可以從舉一系列有關車輛、車禍等的數據開始。
3)論證
對提出的論題，不可主觀地妄下結論，而要進行客觀的論證。這是演講中最需要下功夫的部分。關鍵是要把道理講清楚。常見的論證方法有舉例法、因果法、對比法等等，可參見英語議論文的有關章節。
4)結論
結論要簡明扼要，以給聽眾留下深刻印象。
5)結尾
結尾要簡潔，不要拉拉扯扯，說個沒完。特別是不要受漢語影響，說些類似“準備不足，請諒解”，“請批評指正”這樣的廢話。最普通的結尾就是：thank you very much for your attention。
4．英語演講稿的語言特征
1)多用實詞，多用短句，少用結構復雜的長句
在英語演講中，and, but, so, then 等虛詞要盡量少用，that, which 等詞引導的定語從句也只會使句子結構變得復雜，而使聽眾難以跟上演講者的思路，從而影響演講的效果。相反，多使用實詞，短句，可使得演講內容更清晰，氣勢更磅礴。
2)演講要注意使用各種修辭手法，增加演講的感染力和氣勢。英語演講中常用的修辭手法有：漸進(climax)、對照(antithesis)、排比(parallelism)、警句(epigram)等等，例如：
that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth．(排比) 這個民有、民治、民享的國家將不會從地球上消失。
united, there is little we can not do; divided, there is little we can do．(對照)
團結，我們便將無所不能；分裂，我們則會一事無成。

You all are leaving your Alma Mater now. I have no gift to present you all except a piece of advice.
What I would like to advise is that "Don’t give up your study." Most of the courses you have taken are partly for your certificate. You had no choice but to take them. From now on, you may study on your own. I would advise you to work hard at some special field when you are still young and vigorous. Your youth will be gone that will never come back to you again. When you are old, and when your energy are getting poorer, you will not be able to as you wish to. Even though you have to study in order to make a living, studies will never live up to you. Making a living without studying, you will be shifted out in three or five years. At this time when you hope to make it up, you will say it is too late. Perhaps you will say, "After graduation and going into the society, we will meet with an urgent problem, that is, to make a living. For this we have no time to study. Even though we hope to study, we have no library nor labs, how can we study further?"
I would like to say that all those who wait to have a library will not study further even though they have one and all these who wait to have a lab will not do experiments even though they have one. When you have a firm resolution and determination to solve a problem, you will naturally economize on food and clothing.
As for time, I should say it’s not a problem. You may know that every day he could do only an hour work, not much more than that because Darwin was ill for all his life. You must have read his achievements. Every day you spend an hour in reading 10 useful pages, then you will read more than 3650 pages every year. In 30 years you will have read 110,000 pages.

在深圳天虹龍新店做了一個多月的促銷員，其中所學、鎖獲、所感非常多，我不敢說自己已經成為了一名很優秀的促銷員，但作為一名促銷員的基本素質我還是有的。以下結合自己的經驗談談如何成為一名優秀的促銷員。
一、職責
俗語有云：食君之祿、擔君之憂。我們要對得起手中這個飯碗，我們要對得起公司的知遇之恩與栽培之恩。在工作中，我們有沒有遲到早退；有沒有偷懶；有沒有貪圖公司的贈品；有沒有堅守崗位、盡職盡責？我們都要捫心自問一下。在深圳工作一個多月，確實很累、很辛苦，但我敢說，我每次吃飯都不會超時、極少午睡，沒拿過公司半個贈品，為什么？做人要忠于職守。
在所有產品中，我賣得最好的是定型類產品，而且時時壓制著競品，當競品促銷員向我提出，只要我肯幫她賣產品，就把六成的提成分給我。當時，我是一口拒接，為什么？因為我是迪彩人，我要忠于自己的公司。
二、銷量
終端賣場就是一個戰場，銷量就是戰績。我們有沒有為公司的銷量而戰？我33天的總銷量是696瓶，平均每天銷售21.09瓶，名列八位隊員之首。
其中，除去一次團購，兩次開業爆破的銷量，我的總銷量是466瓶，平均每天15.53瓶，名列第二。
從整個銷量圖中，可以看出幾點：
1、整個實習期，銷售業績有高峰和低谷。要想達到高峰是要具備一定條件的，比如團購、開業爆破、團隊做活動等，在這樣的氛圍中，自己會充滿激情，會有突破。但是，自己受外界環境影響太過了，在常規的銷售中沒能找到突破點，銷量一直都處于30瓶以下。
2、銷量處于穩定狀態。33天當中，只有6天的銷量是個位數，其中有3天花費半天的時間參加培訓，而剩余27天，我的銷售都是雙位數。這表明：（1）我的心態比較平穩，心態、情緒對工作沒有重大影響。（2）自己的銷售能力能保證常規銷量。
3、單品銷量比例。除了團購與開業爆破銷量外，常規銷量洗、護、定、染的比例是2：3：4：1，而門店洗、護、定、染的比例是1：3：3：3，其中我賣得最好的是定型類產品，約186.45瓶，而最關鍵、最有效地技巧是快速遞產品。
三、心態
1、自信
自信，首先是對自己有信心，要有征服顧客的信心；其次是對產品有信心，相信產品能解決顧客的問題。
剛開始，我也是對自己沒信心，不敢接待顧客，怕顧客不買，怕顧客刁難，總是以哀求的口吻對顧客說話，類似這個很好用的呀、今天打特價、有買有送等等；而對產品不自信，更多的表現在洗發水上，怕產品不好用，怕顧客回來投訴等等。
后來，經過一段時間的歷練，特別向店長學習之后，自己慢慢變得自信了，變強勢了。你就帶這個、這個最適合你用、可以的，你要相信我，類似這樣的話，自己都敢說了。8月30日，自己嘗試整天都用類似的說辭待客，當天的銷售是26瓶，從此，我相信：自信、霸氣，是一個優秀促銷員必備的素質。
2、相信團隊
沒有完美的個人，只有完美的團隊。個人的力量是渺小的，團隊的力量才是巨大的，甚至是可怕的。任何一個促銷員都不是單獨作戰，只有整個門店的促銷員團結起來，這個門店才能做好。
在實習中，通過團隊合作取得的驕人成績很多。例如，25支草本去屑洗發水團購，220支300g盈潤修復洗發水小禮包團購，而令我震撼和自豪的是，9月10日深圳萬佳蓮塘店開業爆破活動。當天上午，我們只用常規的推銷方法，各自單獨作戰，見人就推銷洗發水，后來發現策略不對，銷量提不上去，最后采用團隊合作方式，一人高舉洗發水在喧銷，其他人遞產品。當天，我是做喧銷的，嗓子喊啞了，銷量卻不是最多的，但我們很開心，我們團隊實現了突破，團隊總量是234支。
一個優秀的促銷員不僅會單獨作戰，更要相信團隊，配合團隊，這樣才能取得更大的成績。
四、技能
1、遞產品
遞產品是首要也是最關鍵的技能。在超市中，往往會見到某些促銷員指點著貨架上的產品對顧客滔滔不絕。但是當顧客兩手空空，他的雙眼就會隨意轉動，當他的注意力轉到競品的時候，你講得再好也是空話。
首先要遞產品，集中顧客注意力，讓他認定手中的產品最好用，手中的產品就是屬于他的了，而當顧客把手中的產品放回貨架的時候，千萬不要亂了陣腳，繼續遞產品，把他沒看到的地方指給他看，把他沒聽過的話說給他聽，最后果斷拍板，及時送離。
2、用有效的話攔截顧客觸摸競品
一個優秀的促銷員是不會輕易流失顧客的。以我為例，在賣定型類產品時，當顧客放回我遞出的產品，而且不接我第二次遞的產品時，就要留意他的眼睛，當他掃射到某競品時，馬上說：像那個，女孩可能會喜歡它的顏色，男的用得比較少。如果他是男的，自然不會碰。
銷售中的技能技巧數不勝數，問題的關鍵是，你自己是否想變優秀，當你想變優秀的時候，你自己會學到很多技能技巧。
五、服務
1、提高服務意識，以顯公司品牌形象
當今社會，服務意識、服務理念已深入人心，強行銷售的觀念早已過時，一個優秀的促銷員是能夠為顧客提供幫助，解決問題的。而且很多時候，顧客看重的不僅僅是產品，更多的是服務態度。
在實習中，曾遇到過一個案例，原本天虹店有兩名美發師，由于其中一個離職，導致另一個工作量加大，以致美發屋的服務質量節節下降，結果遭到兩次投訴。可見，服務態度直接影響銷量及公司的品牌形象。
2、強化體驗營銷
體驗營銷師本公司與其他日化公司的最大不同，作為迪彩的促銷員，作為迪彩優秀的促銷員，必須牢記體驗營銷，真誠待客、真誠服務，才能使公司發展得更美好。

今天我演講的題目是《榜樣的力量》。
這是一個榜樣輩出的時代。各種各樣的榜樣，在不知不覺中成為我們心目中的坐標。曾經，我們以學習雷鋒為榜樣。如今許多榜樣，也正在我們身邊不斷涌現。徐本禹是一個榜樣，他用自己的青春書寫一卷美麗的教育圖畫；
劉翔是一個榜樣，他用一面奔跑的旗幟，將崛起的中國形象深深烙刻在世界的視野。
法國作家盧梭說過：“榜樣！榜樣！沒有榜樣，你永遠不能成功地教給兒童以任何東西。”羅曼·羅蘭也說過：“要撒播陽光到別人心中，總得自己心中有陽光。”我想，我們每位教師的師德就如同這里的“榜樣”和“陽光”。俗話說，信其師，則信其道；
信其道，則循其步。喊破嗓子不如做出樣子，所以說教師是旗幟，學生如影隨形地追著走；
教師是路標，學生毫不遲疑地順著標記前行。
榜樣的力量是無窮的。有人曾說：“播撒一種思想收獲一種行為，播撒一種行為收獲一種習慣，播撒一種習慣收獲一種性格，播撒一種性格收獲一種命運”。播撒一種榜樣，我們能夠時時看到奮斗的目標和參照物。榜樣是一種向上的力量，是一面鏡子，是一面旗幟。
沒有什么比師德的陽光更有無窮的魅力了，沒有什么比師德的榜樣更有無比強大的力量了。走上三尺講臺，教書育人；
走下三尺講臺，為人師表。教師不僅是社會主義精神文明的建設者和傳播者，更是莘莘學子們的道德基因的轉接者。
當我們看到自己的學生用自己熟悉的口氣在說某一個學生時，我們內心的感受會是怎樣？教師，是一個神圣的稱呼；
師德，不是簡單的說教，而是一種精神體現，是一種深厚的知識內涵和文化品位的體現；
師德，需要培養，需要教育，更需要的是——每位教師的自我修養！教師需要從小事做起，從自我做起，率先垂范，作出表率，以高尚的人格感染人，以整潔的儀表影響人，以和藹的態度對待人，以豐富的學識引導人，以博大的胸懷愛護人。只有這樣，才能保證教書育人的實效，學生才會“親其師，信其道”，進而“樂其道”。
最后我用劉俊萍老師書中的一段話結束今天的演講：我樂意把整個心靈獻給孩子，讓學生生活幸福、成長快樂。同時我也在發展著、成長著、快樂著。我愿意用坦誠的愛心培育坦誠的愛心，用智慧啟迪智慧，用人格塑造人格，以自己的生命之光與被點燃的火種交相輝映，從而獲得生命的意義和輝煌，師生如伴同成長。

但是要想活得精彩，就要有精神，就要有遠大的理想和堅定的信念。
理想信念使貧困的人變成富翁，使黑暗中的人看見光明，使絕境中的人看到希望，使夢想變成現實 下面我給大家講一個故事：
浩瀚的沙漠中，一支探險隊在艱難地跋涉。頭頂驕陽似火，烤得探險隊員們口干舌燥，揮汗如雨。最糟糕的是，他們沒有水了。水就是他們賴以生存的信念，信念破滅了，一個個像塌了架，丟了魂，不約而同地將目光投向隊長。這可怎么辦？ 隊長從腰間取出一個水壺，兩手舉起來，用力晃了晃，驚喜地喊道：“哦，我這里還有一壺水！但穿越沙漠前，誰也不能喝。” 沉甸甸的水壺從隊員們的手中依次傳遞，原來那種瀕臨絕望的臉上又顯露出堅定的神色，一定要走出沙漠的信念支撐他們踉蹌著，一步一步地向前挪動。看著那水壺，他們抿抿干裂的嘴唇，陡然增添了力量。
終于，他們死里逃生，走出茫茫無垠的沙漠，大家喜極而泣之時，久久凝視著那個給了他們信念支撐的水壺。
隊長小心翼翼地擰開水壺蓋，緩緩流出的卻是一縷縷沙子。他誠摯地說：“只要心里有堅定的信念，干枯的沙子有時也可以變成清冽的泉水。” 黑人馬丁·路德金有句名言：“這個世界上，沒有人能夠使你倒下。如果你自己的信念還站立著的話。”是的，即使在最困難的時候，也不要熄滅心中信念的火把。
同學們，不管你現在的成績怎么樣，不管你現在的基礎怎么樣，只要堅定信念，超越自我，你就有了努力的方向，你就有了奮斗的目標，你就有了生活的動力，你就有了成功的希望！ 誰要是游戲人生，他就一事無成；

i have made many sacrifices as an air traffic controller. i really feel sorry for my family. but as i help pilots find their destinations under terrible weather conditions, and then hear “thanks” from them, i’m satisfied. and as i see planes taking off and landing safely, and make sure that hundreds more families can get together, i’m comforted. i even seem to be able to see the happy smiles on their faces.
