                  我如何上《英語交流》

                  教學目的

                  解決軟院學生不敢開口、開口就錯、無法用英語交流的問題。一直以來,中國非英語專業的大學生普遍畏懼口頭表達,“高分低能”并非個別現象(甚至很多托福考了600多分的學生到了美國聽課很困難)。究其原因,應試教育體制、英語師資(尤其啟蒙教師)欠佳,母語方言的干擾、文化差異、以及學生個人生理、心理條件的限制等等,不一而足。傳統的或流行過的各種英語教學法在提高學生口語能力上都取得了一定收效,但仍未能取得突破性進展,無法從根本上扭轉學生在口語學習上的被動局面。《英語交流》正是為了在短短六十個學時的有限時間內解決我院學生上述問題而設計實施的。

                  教學方法

                  本人積幾十年英語教、學實踐經驗,吸取結構法、交際法、直接法和情景法的優點,以獨創的一套方法盡量調動學生的視、聽、說、想等各種感官,高強度訓練,以“增強內存來保證輸出”。No input, no output.

                  教材

                  取材于國內外報刊、雜志等圖書,由我精心編寫的60篇短文,內容涉及工作、學習、娛樂、衛生、環境、社會問題及時事新聞等各方面,語言力求口語化,每篇短文配有相關的十個句子。該套教材每學期有所更新,以收進最新的熱門話題,如汶川地震、北京奧運、上海世博等。另有聽力教材,選用《雅思階梯聽力訓練》,也讓日后有意出國深造的學生對這類考題有所熟悉。

                  教學環節

                  1、 每次上課時,首先由兩名學生用英語報告新聞,教師點評,并記入平時成績。

                  2、 授課的重點(這是實施我獨創教法的核心部分),介紹一下主體背景,點出關鍵詞匯和短語,然后教師朗讀該篇短文,請學生就短文內容回答問題。學生了解了文章內容后,教師逐句地復述該文,由學生高聲模仿(學生手中沒有教材,每天下課前教師將單頁發給學生)。這個環節是學生矯正語音語調的練習(我對自己的語音很有自信,三十年前已在吉林臺播講英語),也是記憶句型的過程(如不全神貫注,無法準確地復述整個語句)。經過三四遍的“學話”,多數學生已能借助屏幕上的提示語完整地復述整篇短文。之后就是以學生為主的課堂活動,如復述故事(要求更改人稱等)、互相問答、扮演事件中人物,或進行辯論。

                  3、 每天下課前留出幾分鐘由學生就指定題目就簡短發言,教師點評,并計入平時成績。

                  教學原則

                  “先死后活”。首先要求學生嚴格地復述,記住原文,以保證不出錯誤,并將這些正確的語言材料輸入記憶庫。然后要求學生能融會貫通,活用這些語言素材(如由一個句型可替換其中的元素組成不同的新句子),鼓勵學生通過想像來“創造”情景,自由表述。每個學期,我們都組織學生舉行演講比賽,電影配音比賽或英語晚會,這是對學生學習成果的一次校驗,也豐富了學生的文化生活。

                  考評方法

                  為了最大程度地調動學生的學習積極性,使不同程度的學生都有更大的提高,總成績不是由一次考試決定,而是由各項指標相加而得,即出勤20分(一次曠課扣2分,一次遲到扣1分),平時成績20分(包括報告新聞、簡短演講、課堂表現、生詞學習情況),考查10分(所有的短文和相關句子要求能背誦),期中考試20分(一般是2分鐘的自選題目演講),期末30分(抽簽朗誦一篇教材以外的短文,并就短文內容回答問題)。另外課外活動的參加者和獲獎者可獲加分。

                  教學態度
                  教師必須言傳身教并重。我自認為在以下幾個方面做得還可以:

                  1、 九年來從未請過一次事假、病假,從未有過一次上課遲到。

                  2、 關心每一個學生,盡量不讓任何人掉隊。凡發現無故不來上課者,當場布置其他學生找該生談話、了解情況,并給與勸導。對在上課時吃早餐、隨地扔紙團,最后離開教室不關燈者進行批評,能經常性結合教學對學生進行素質教育(責任感、吃苦耐勞精神、獨立思考、孝敬父母、熱愛國家、關心社會和他人)。

                  3、 為了調動學生,我每節課都保持充滿激情。為了讓學生敢于大膽開口,我率先垂范,有時甚至“聲嘶力竭”(身上總離不開“金嗓子”喉寶)。無論課堂內外,堅持與學生用英語溝通,包括已經教過了的學生。針對學生詞匯量小的弱點,要求每人每天至少背會30個新詞,并抄錄下來,標注日期,以備教師不定期檢查。

                  教學效果

                  據雙語課專業課教師反映,選過《英語交流》的學生與未修過這門課的學生差異很大:給后者上課很費力。有多名學生考取了英語中級口譯證書,甚至有人考取了高級口譯證書。很多學生參加國際交流項目,在國外學習順利。05級的喜文婧同學參加了上海市高校英語口語大賽獲第一名。

                  另外,從去年開始,我院與微軟全球技術支持中心開設聯合課程,我主講《職場英語交流能力》,在沒有很多時間籌劃準備的情況下,我根據自己在美國工作的切身經驗制作了這門課程的全套課件,內容包括職場禮儀、參加會議、主持會議、商務談判、公務電話、解決客戶技術難題、書寫電子函件、書寫備忘錄、報告、及會議記錄、求職及面試等。通過對兩期教學的反饋,我們推薦到微軟的學生獲得了公司的贊譽。按微軟公司錢之政經理的話說:“我們對安教授上課不是滿意,是200%的滿意”。我對這句話不敢認同,但把它作為對我的鞭策。以上是對我來軟院以來工作情況的粗略匯報,有疏漏和不當之處,還請領導指正。

                  高考英語經驗交流

                  談到高考經驗, 我做的事情大家都在做,相信很多人比我做的好。高三教學任務繁重,感覺辛苦,但感觸也頗深。在此我主要談談在高三階段針對學生學習英語信心不足的情況下如何開展教學的一些嘗試,希望能夠拋磚引玉,互相啟發,達到共同進步的目的。

                  一、找問題,樹信心,定目標

                  1.成事者皆自信。在高三的第一節課的我的教學任務就是給學生找回點信心。比如:給學生分析高考試卷的結構, 問學生高考試卷哪部分最重要? 哪部分分值最大? 學生自然會說閱讀40分,完形30分,共70分。 得閱讀完形者得天下!制定努力的目標--閱讀,之后是完形!只要70分的題能夠得到50分,高考英語就可以達到90分以上,你的英語就有救了。

                  2. 找到學習問題的根源- 詞匯問題 看不懂篇章。怎么解決詞匯問題? 詞匯關過不了什么都別談。怎么辦? 背唄!除了背還是背,就這個笨辦法就解決一切問題!為了驗證我說的話有多管用,當堂課就讓學生做一篇閱讀和完形(自然我會選擇比較簡單的題),先幫助學生解決詞匯問題,然后開始做題。之后學生深刻意識到背單詞有多重要!

                  3. 師生共享學習目標和計劃

                  高三每個階段的學習任務和老師的教學計劃我都會提前告知學生,他們需要知道近期該做些什么,改怎樣怎么努力去完成任務,及早做好學習安排,緊跟老師,有序開展學習,逐步提高,從而建立學習自信和動力。這樣也避免了盲目學習,浪費時間。

                  計劃如下:一輪復習是整個高考復習過程中耗時最多(大約四五個月)、復習內容最細的的一個環節,也是復習備考中最重要的環節。基礎的落實是始終強調的,重點是背和記,在夯實基礎的同時,也在各個方面獲得了不同程度的提升。復習要跟老師密切配合,根據自己的實際情況做好基礎知識的梳理,并做好筆記。

                  在一輪復習中穿插專題的復習,這樣既可以防止單一復習的枯燥,又可以有效利用時間提高效率。在每一個知識點復習后都要進行一次檢測,通過檢測反饋學生掌握知識的情況,這樣可以讓我們有效的及時進行知識的查缺補漏。 第一個專題我們是完形,之后是閱讀,先抓住重頭戲,精選習題,適合學生的程度,要求學生掌握解題方法并且復習和鞏固詞匯。

                  二輪復習是在一輪基礎上的梳理、拓展和提高。為時兩個月左右,主要是專題復習,專題的復習的內容緊扣高考題型,通過做題拓展視野,提升能力,從深度和廣度上開闊思路,訓練思維能力和表達能力。在這個過程中,要特別注意答題的規范性訓練。

                  最后一個月基本就是套題訓練,告知學生要練速度,練準確,練狀態。如:拿到試題后,大致瀏覽,初步摸清題情,認真做好頭一兩個題目,讓思維很快進入最佳狀態。要先易后難,先熟后生,但要注意,對熟題要千萬小心,不可大意。回答問題時不僅要善于回憶,更要懂得在理解題意的基礎上組織答案。在組織答案的過程中,必須注意句子的簡明連貫得體,注意保留命題者的原意,注意滿足題旨,注意書寫的規范和工整。

                  二.親其師信其道

                  如果說自信是成功的開端,那么對教師的信賴就是取得成功的巨大動力。一個不相信老師能力的學生、常常會雞蛋里挑骨頭學習這門科一定是被動的,抵觸的,不僅嚴重影響自己的復習還會影響同學。高考復習最忌諱的就是這種消極情緒。信師本身就是對自己選擇的一種肯定,老師的每一句話,每一次鼓勵都應該對學生產生積極的影響和動力,他們才會自覺運用教師所教的方法, 提高學習效率取得不斷進步。老師適當要發揮一下個人魅力,偶爾幽默一下,關心一下,和他們保持好關系,無意會拉近和學生的距離,他們更樂意接受你的一切。

                  三.關注學生,促其進步

                  在課堂上我時刻關注學生的聽課狀態,特別注意學習困難的同學,慷慨給與鼓勵和表揚,給其他學生一種信號:連他都聽懂了呀!學生在做課堂練習時,我不是埋頭看題火者批改作業等,會巡視全班,拿著紅筆,發現有做對的題時,劃個大大的紅勾,這不僅是對學生的激勵,也是對學生的督促,我也能及時了解學生的掌握情況。以便做出及時的調整和總結。

                  此外,我認真批改學生的每一次作業,并做一定的記錄,以便課堂上進行糾錯和總結,對作業完成優秀者和進步者進行表揚或者鼓勵;對作業完成較差的學生根據情況進行輔導或者批評教育。

                  四.學以致用,體驗快樂

                  1. 很多時候語法課會出現“老師講得天花亂墜,學生聽得昏昏欲睡”的現象。在講非謂語動詞這個專題時我把高考新題型語法填空題(難點)結合在一起,學生在學了語法規則之后,運用在填空里的動詞考點和答題技巧上,這樣學生不僅解決了學習的困難,還感覺自己真聰明,這么難的的內容都掌握了,內心激發了學習的快樂感。

                  2. 重視背誦,抓落實

                    由于第一輪復習是之后幾輪復習的基礎,在第一輪復習中背書就顯得尤為重要。在第一輪復習中同學們一定要保證把復習的內容至少背一遍,最好兩遍,沒有這個基礎,將來要想提高成績就會非常困難。學生在積累了一定的關鍵句式和常見文章后,在寫作和短文改錯不像以前那樣困難了。這段時間是考驗老師耐心的階段,就是和學生磨,不輕易放過一個學生,要求記住的內容必須落實到位。

                  3.翻看錯題本,達到溫故知新的效果

                  隨著一輪復習的推進,學生的習題量在逐漸增加,錯題需要總結和復習。我要求學生把所有錯題全部整理出來(這點對于成績較差的學生尤為重要)。兩周一次重做一下錯題本,要經常在空閑時間或準備下一次考試時,拿出錯題本,瀏覽一下,這樣就使每一道題都發揮出最大效果,在今后遇到同類習題時,會立刻回想起曾經犯過的錯誤,從而避免再犯。開始“錯題本”里由于粗心的類型會占大多數,但隨著該項工作的深入,“錯題本”中的錯誤質量會越來越高,數量會越來越少,更多是由于概念點和思路而引發的錯誤,這些題就是屬于平常沒有作對,考試又犯錯的典型類型。 俗話說,吃一塹,長一智。如果能從自己的錯題本和其他同學做的錯題中得到啟發,從而不再犯類似的錯誤,成績就能有較大的提高。只要堅持下來,善待錯誤,學生很快將會欣喜地發現,錯誤會變得越來越少,得分率提高了,學習的過程中感受到成功的快樂和信心。。

                  五.用實例說明,激發動力

                  為了激勵學生堅持背單詞和作文,我經常給學生講一些青蛙變王子,灰姑娘變公主的生活中的例子。我說上屆或上上屆某某同學以前英語很差,考試成績只有40-50分,但是經過不到一年的勤學好問,天天背單詞做閱讀和完形,高考拿了100多分。現在就看你們能不能堅持了?

                  我們知道,高考的作文書寫很重要,但不少學生對書寫不以為然,認為差不多就行了。為了讓學生規范書寫,我首先給學生展示幾種高考作文的書寫, 讓學生去感受什么樣的書寫是清晰美觀的, 什么樣的書寫是不規范的,當學生看到得分時,不少學生觸動了。另外當我介紹上屆高三楊帆,劉子豐騰,宗希凱,陸穎,夏如森等學生的書寫是怎樣影響他們的作文得分時,我看得出他們臉上的表情凝重了許多。之后他們的書寫情況大有好轉,我不斷把書寫規范美觀的作業在班里展示, 同伴的榜樣作用尤其能刺激人的神經。

                    以上的做法可能人人都知道,關鍵在于抓“落實“。說到底,還是時間和汗水,功夫要做細,細節定成敗。

                  小學英語教學經驗交流

                  非常感謝學校給予我這樣一次和在座的各位教師一起交流和學習的機會。我想,這對我今后更好地英語教學工作來說,也是一次難得的學習機會,同時這也是對我英語教學的一次鞭策和鼓勵。我是2006年開始教小學英語的,當時認為小學英語教學應該是非常簡單的事情,不就是聽、說、讀、寫嘛,沒什么難的,信心百倍,但真正開始教學,開始接觸學生之后,我才感覺到,小學英語教學之路尤其是農村學生的英語教學之路,真是荊棘滿路,坎坷難行。與初中學生教法相比完全比一樣,首先表現在課時少,家長學生都認為是副課根本不能和語文數學相比,從學生的潛意識里,沒有當一回事兒,從家庭上看,我們學生的家庭大部分屬于農民家庭,家長別說說英語,就是聽得懂英語的都是少之又少,更別討論輔導孩子了,所以根本也就談不上重視了。從環境上看,學生除了在課堂短短的40分鐘外,基本就沒有應用英語的地方,等等諸多原因,使我的英語教學開展起來非常不順暢。后來,我就想了很多辦法,剛開始用我在初中的那套教法去對待學生,行不通,就從教材入手,小學教材圖文并茂,重視學生的語言知識和技能的培養,打破舊教材編寫中過分強調語言知識的訓練,非常重視提高學生的學習策略,要求學生能運用各種學習的策略來完成任務。我抓住了教材的這一特點,展開了我的教學計劃。

                  那么,如何提高教學水平和學生的學習成績,我認為必須從學習興趣、學習習慣、學習方法以及學習信心入手去解決教學中的各種問題;再加上通過這幾年的走出去與請進來的教研活動,使我真正看到了小學英語課堂上的有限空間、無限風采。雖然我們有過迷茫,有過徬徨,也有過不知所措的無助,但更多的是希望.通過自己不懈的努力和辛勤耕耘,終于迎來了豐碩的果實,在教學中取得了較好的成績。

                  下面就把我教學中的一些經驗和體會與大家交流一下。

                  ?一.信心是英語教學的第一關鍵因素

                  一位教師有了信心才能教好學生,一名學生有了信心才能學好知識。

                  那么教師的信心從何而得? 自身的綜合專業素質,自己的教法,自己的人格魅力都是非常重要的方面,如果我們一味地去抱怨學校的生源,責怪自己的學生,責怪他們的遲鈍,責怪他們的父母沒有能力輔導自己的孩子,那么我們永遠會處于失望甚至失落的狀態,最后會在惡性循環中品嘗失敗的苦果。因為這些事實都是無法改變的,學生有差異也是正常的,必須面對現實。

                  而學生的信心很重要的就來自于周圍的環境,有老師的評價,老師的鼓勵,有自身實際掌握知識的程度,有興趣的高低這些方面,通過多年實際教學經驗表明,英語后進生率相比較其他學科都是非常大的。特別是在英語的啟蒙階段如果就存在這種情況,對于學生未來的英語學習發展是非常不利的. 那么如何幫助學生建立起學習的信心?很簡單,就是幫助學生獲得成功,鼓勵學生獲得成功!針對這種情況,我采取了多種方法進行解決;比如,對不同層次的學生留不同的作業。好的學生做一些開放性的作業,差的學生(從抄襲別人作業開始,到自己獨立做),或要求每一位后進生會唱一首英文兒歌,會背誦一段英文對話,會朗誦一首英文CHANT。(把自己會唱的歌曲教給爸爸媽媽,當一次老師),增強他們的興趣和信心。從知識面上讓學生樹立我能行,我能做到最好的自信心,這就是打開部分學生拒絕英語學習的心靈窗口。然后重點觀察后進生的表現,再通過游戲促進其學習英語的潛在能動力。當然,每個學生的情況不同,有擅長于言語表達,也有擅長于記憶等等的。總之充分挖掘學生的閃光點,而使之成為他們日后星光四射的基礎。

                  ?二、興趣的培養從教學中的點滴開始積累

                  基本上在每一個關于英語或是教育的文章里,興趣都是出現頻率最高的詞匯。但今天我仍然還是要提出來,通過各種方式培養學生的興趣比直接傳授給知識更為重要。從學生未來學習可持續發展的角度上來看,啟蒙階段的英語學習興趣會使學生受益終身。在學習中盡量淡化學習,而是教師和學生們共同完成一個任務或者是游戲。增加每節課的興趣點,讓學生通過以語音模仿為基礎,深入的進行符合其不同個性的語言表達,將簡單的任務與其個性緊密的聯系起來。這就需要我們教師在平常教學中進行細致的準備,將興趣的激發融入到教學中的每一個環節中去。當然,培養學生興趣的方法很多。

                  三、培養學生良好的的學習習慣

                  在激發學生學習興趣的同時,培養學生的學習習慣也非常重要。要培養學生的學習習慣,首先老師要有良好的教學習慣。備課是教學不可或缺的一部分,在備課時我首先就是找準本課的教學重點,在圍繞重點進行教學設計。當然對教材的理解和掌握是每位教師最起碼的要求。在備課時,我重點是備學生,幾年級,多少名學生,可以說我對每個班級、每名同學了如指掌,誰基礎差,誰不注意聽講,誰接受能力慢,都在我心里有數。只有這樣,才能及時解決課堂出現的突發問題。課堂教學是學習的重要過程,我在課堂教學中采用了 “聊天式”教學方法,用聊天的語氣,與同學們在一種人文、和諧的氛圍中學習,當然課堂教學中少不了剛才提到的對同學興趣激發的一些教學手段。在自己養成了良好的教學習慣之后,我更注重了對學生學習習慣的培養。我通過各種途徑來培養學生課上的良好聽課習慣,課后我著重培養學生多聽、多讀、多練的習慣,每天回家后至少20分鐘的英語學習時間,5分鐘讀、5分鐘磁帶跟讀、5分鐘單詞記憶、5分鐘拓展練習。在作業上面讓家長簽字,遇到放假或周末就進行分小組學習,小組成員結成“一幫一”的互助對子,充分發揮學生的作用,這樣好學生既鞏固了自己的知識,又幫助同學共同進步,可以說是一舉兩得。,

                  ?四、家校聯合

                  學生的學習環境主要就是學校和家庭,雙方配合,才能達到最佳效果。學生在課堂上學得東西,如果在課后沒有得到很好的復習和鞏固,那么必然會影響第二天的課堂反饋,沒有很好地消化當天所學的東西,學生的學習成績很難得到提高。因此學生在家的學習顯得尤為重要,這時就要取得家長的配合,督促孩子在家認真復習預習。為更好的取得家長對于學生英語學習的支持與幫助,每學期開展一次家長會。除了為家長講述英語的重要性以及如何在家里利用各種資源輔導學生外。更多的介紹一些幫助孩子學習的方法,并給出在英語學習方面的一些建議與家長進行交流和溝通,我還專門為每一位到會家長發了一張《致家長一封信》,上面列舉了我對學生在家學習英語的要求,還介紹了一些我自己對英語學習的意見和方法。通過家長會的舉行,將學生,家長,學校緊密的聯合在一起。讓每位家長關心自己孩子的英語學習狀況。例如說這個月是不是被評為英語希望之星或是進步之星了,今天學了些什么單詞,等等問題,對學生也是一個有利的促進,使他們在學校里更加努力的學習。

                  五、課堂評價多鼓勵少批評

                  課堂上評價學生以鼓勵為主。對不同年級的學生獎勵形式應多種多樣;教師對學生的表揚能提高學生學習的積極性,在學生的心里發展過程中將會逐步轉化為學習的動力,產生意想不到的學習效果。鼓勵和表揚的方式有很多,對單個回答問題好的學生,應說“very good”,“It is right”。對全體學生為某個學

                  生答對了問題而集體鼓掌或齊聲說“right”,“great”等。

                  課堂上,教師精力充沛,情緒飽滿,講課時面帶微笑,對學生熱情而有耐心。學生答對時,老師要常說“Good. Yes.Ok.Well-done.Thank you.You are great.Wonderful”如果學生說錯了,老師要說“Try again.Don"t worry.”學生覺得很難表達而想放棄時,教師會鼓勵說“Try your best.”這樣學生回答問題時就無后顧之憂,課堂發言會積極踴躍。

                  六不斷創新教學方法,模擬語言情境,再現真實生活樂趣

                  小學英語圖文并茂,與生活密切相關。知識來源于生活,只有將知識融入到生活中,才不會死讀書,讀死書。生活是五彩繽紛的,取材于生活的課堂活動更富有鮮活氣息。如:打電話、買東西、看電影、過生日、上班、上學、爬山、游泳、逛超市等等。學生在任務活動中交流學習,從而學會如何在實際生活中去運用,培養了學生綜合運用語言的能力。英語教學是一個常學常新的課題。每一次上課,都會有新的問題,新的收獲,新的心得體會,這些都會督促我們去找出問題的關鍵所在,不斷地探索出新的教學方法。只有自己不斷的發現問題、解決問題,才能進步,這樣我的學生們也會多多受益。靈活多樣的教學方法能夠刺激學生,使之處于興奮狀態,也能保持良好的學習情緒。例如,在學習“cat,dog,dragon”等動物單詞時,我采用各種動物的聲音教學,學生聽了樂不可支,學起來很高興,記起來自然也輕松多了;還有,在講授頭部各器官時,我讓學生動起手來,做起了“touch your eyes,touch your nose”的游戲,在游戲中孩子們很快掌握了各個器官的英文單詞,并能很快的脫口而出這些單詞。為了適應新課程標準的要求,教師在英語教學過程中就非常有必要采用多種手段,充分利用多種輔助工具,激活課堂,提高課堂效果。其中,自制一些簡單的教具在英語教學中也已成了我的習慣。比如,自制一些字母、單詞小卡片,自畫一些簡單圖畫,自做一些簡易圖形。自制自己的英文名字卡。這些自制小教具能充分調動學生的積極性,激發學生的學習興趣,提高課堂效果。在這方面,我做了許多的嘗試,結合相關的課文內容,自制了許多的這類教具,既便于攜帶,又確實取得了很好的課堂效果。

                  最后我想說的是,No pains, no gains.我們每一位老師的教學之路仍然是漫長和艱辛的,需要我們用心去捧起祖國明日的太陽,用汗水和智慧結出希望的果實。
