在我演講的開始，我想先說一段小故事：一群鐵路工人在一起上班時，鐵路公司的總裁由一群下屬陪同到基層視察。總裁滿面春風的跟其中一位工人打招呼：“嘿，比爾，你好！”那位名叫比爾的工人跟總裁寒喧了幾句之后，總裁離開了。其他工人好奇的問比爾是怎么認識總裁的。比爾說“二十年前，我和總裁一起在這里工作。”“那為什么他現在是總裁而你還是一個鐵路工人呢？”工人們七嘴八舌的問。“因為，”比爾回答“那時候總裁就是在為鐵路事業而工作了，而我只是為一小時五十美分的工資而工作。”
在銀行間同業競爭如此激烈的今天，我想問在座的各位，你們是在為了什么而工作呢？是為了農行更好的發展，還是為了自己每月固定的收入呢？當然，我希望得到的回應是前者，因為我相信在座的各位，誰都不想成為另一個“比爾”。
那么在努力工作中，如何才能讓我們的農業銀行得到更好的發展，才能將它打造成真正的精品銀行呢？我認為應當從兩個方面著手——一個是產品，另一個是服務。

Love is an immortal and everlasting topic for everybody. Today, I am going to share my experiences in love with all of you.
But first of all, can anyone tell me how do you find yourself fall in love with somebody? It is some kind of chemical reactions between you and he/she? Yes, correct.
What is love?
The ancien Greek philosophers have given us a clear picture on that. One day Plato asked his teacher Socrates what is love? The teacher asked him to go to the cornfield to pick the most golden ear, but he can only pick once a time and only move forward without turning back. Plato did as what his teacher said. As a result, he walked out of the cornfield with empty hands. Socrates asked Plato why he didn’t pick? He said: “becasue I could only pick once and cannot return, during the process, although I have seen the most golden and biggest one, I didn’t pick because I didn’t know whether there is better one in the front. When I move forwards, I found there is no better one so that I have lost the biggest and most golden one. That is the reason why I didn’t pick anything.
Socrates said “that is love!” This story told us that if you are trying to pursue love intentionally, it will be in vain. Maybe love happens to come, I guess.
Later on, I will expain my personal understanding on love. As a man who want to leave my descendants in the world, I have to find my lover. At first,as usual, I listed my criteria for my lover. They are appearance, job,education background and family. She must be a beaustiful girl with a decent job, talking in an elegant way and be the product of a hamonious family. To achieve this target, as a sensible man, I made a swot analysis. Swot is strength, weakness, oppotunites and threats. As for strength, I have a decent job, good education background, an apartment and a car. Sound great, isn’t it? But I am still not confident, because I still have my weaknesses. First, I have not so much experience with girls. Although sometimes I am humorous, I am not talktive. You know, to get along well with girls, communication skills are of vital importance. My appearance is on average, not attractive. In terms of opportunitis, since I am a hui nationality, I’d better find a girl as the same. Fortunately, hui girls are dominant in populaiton in Hohhot, therefore that means I have choices. Compared with other boys at the same age, I also have my advantages. About threats, I think for a single girl, she also has her judging criteria for her Mr. Right. There are also boys looking for their soul mates too.
Bearing all these concepts in my mind, I began my journey of pursuing my love. But although I am in a segment market, the real situations still disappointed my One girl I met thought I didn’t treat her as with as her former boyfriend. The reason why she dumped him is that although he treat her well, he could not get along well with her family. I held the same opinion just as her former boyfriend, I love you not your family. So we broke up. “I am not using I phone 5, how could I buy an Iphone 5 for you?” the voice from the bottom of my heart says that. At last, I met with her, she really takes care of others, in the cinema, she asks my to switch my mobile phone to vibrating mode in order not to disturb others. She speakes in an casual way with eye contact to me. Although she doesn’t meet my criteria for lover, I know she is the one I am looking for. After the 101st pursuit of love, I finally find my love, how about you?

Compared with the forty year old shabby dormitory I am living in now, the one I lived in for three years in high school was heaven: three students shared one brand new suite with air conditioners and a bathroom.
In three years time we changed it thoroughly:the color of the floor turned from bright pink into muddy gray, and the closet a hive of insects proliferating among piles of rotten our masterpiece was the bathroom, a never drying swamp which served as the habitat of various kinds of mold, and even rodents, rats would occasionally take the trouble to pay us a visit, and.., all three of us felt like sobbing when we at last had to say good bye to our lovely filthy dormitory. Good evening, everybody. I am ... . Now, I am making a speech about how to improve our English for you. TThere are altogether 10 points.
1、What is language for?
Some people seem to think it’s for practicing grammar rules and learning lists of words——the longer the words are, the better. That’s wrong. Language is for the exchange of ideas, for communication.
2、The way to learn a language is to practice speaking it as often as possible.
3、A great man once said it is necessary to drill as much as possible, and the more you apply it in real situations, the more natural it will become.
4、Learning any language takes a lot of effort. but don"t give up.
5、Relax! Be patient and enjoy yourself. Learning foreign languages should be fun.
6、Rome wasn’t built in a day. Work harder and practice more. Your hard work will be rewarded by God one day. God is equal to everyone!
7、Use a dictionary and grammar guide constantly. Keep a small English dictionary with you all the time. When you see a new word, look it up. Think about the word——use it, in your mind, in a sentence.
8、Try to think in English whenever possible. When you see something, think of the English word of it; then think about the word in a sentence.
9、Practice tenses as much as possible. When you learn a new verb, learn its various forms.
10、I would also like to learn more about the culture behind the language. When you understand the cultural background, you can use the language better.
Finally, I wanna give you a sentence that is one of my favorite proverbs. We must accept finite disappointment but we must never lose infinite hope.

It is true that most of us value honesty highly. However, nowadays we often confront confidence crisis such as cheating, overcharging, fake commodities and so on. I think that we should be honest because being honest is not only beneficial to ourselves but also to others and the whole society. The reasons can be listed as follows.Firstly, only honest people can be truly respected by the others and can make more friends over a long period of time.
Secondly, honesty, which is the traditional virtue of the Chinese people, can make our life easier and more harmonious. Thirdly, honesty can make our society more stable. A case in point is that Singapore, a society featuring trustworthiness and integrity, has a comparatively low criminal rate.
Responsbility can be understood in many ways. for the parents , they have had the responsibility for caring for and fostering their children since the birth of their baby.for teachers,both in kindergartens and colleges,they also should be responsible for the study and life of their students,that is to say,teahers are the second parents of children somewhile.
for us,as a friend of others,it is our responsibility to help our friends when they are in trouble or faced with difficulties. each one has the different responsibily based on their roles but we must take it for granted that we are responsible for the society.
Is Money All-powerful?
As we know, most of the material things in our daily life have to be bought with money. But money is not all-powerful. There are many things which money cannot buy, such as time.

經典英文演講稿3篇how well are we in tune with the rhythm of life? in our busy day to day existence, we don"t often stop to ask ourselves this question. at least i don"t. and it wasn"t until i joined a competitive sporting event that i learned a most important lesson – we must place our mind in harmony with the natural order of things to be successful. let me tell you what happened. i decided to take part in an international marathon in my hometown last year. being an ambitious person, i hoped to finish it within 5 hours, accompanied by my friend with whom i had trained. the big day finally arrived. “ready…set…bang” and we were off. at first, we kept a rapid pace and ran nonstop. at this pace, we finished the first 20 kilometers in 2 hours and i thought running a marathon was a piece of cake. then my running mate began to slow down. i urged him to keep running at the same pace but he said no, he wanted to conserve his energy. i felt i had partnered with the wrong person, therefore, i sprinted on and left him behind in the dust. a few kilometers later, i began to understand his strategy as my pace slowed to a jog then a walk. after that i was incapable of moving another step. i was humiliated as more and more people ran passed me. more than once i thought “maybe i should quit.” i started to doubt my ability to finish this race. at this moment, my running mate caught up with me and slapped me on the back. “follow me,” he shouted. he had balanced his marathon pace and was encouraged me to do the same. for the rest of this grueling contest, we walked, jogged, ran a few miles, and walked again. slowly, painfully but hopefully this time, we established the most suitable pace within the natural flow of our physical capabilities. eventually we accomplished our first marathon of 42 kilometers in 4 and half hours. i asked myself, what did this marathon mean to me? my marathon experience became an influential metaphor for my life about how we must learn to pace ourselves in everything, by being in tune with the rhythm of life. like the tide that ebbs and flows, we must listen to advice but make our own decisions. like the show at dawn and dusk, we must learn to balance pride and modesty. and from the way the wind can both shout and whisper, we must learn when to be strong and when to be gentle, for everything moves in its own rhythm and its own yin and yang elements. it is the interaction of these complementary extremes that produces harmony, as laozi said, extremes meet. since the marathon, this notion of two opposite forces working together has been my running partner, so to speak. yin and yang exist everywhere, constantly interacting, and never existing in an absolute condition. ladies and gentlemen, life is like running a marathon, let us discover, define and develop a natural rhythm of life, in order to achieve both harmony and success. thank you for listening. 經典英文演講稿 The rhythm of life經典英文演講稿（2） | how well are we in tune with the rhythm of life?
