誠信考試 自我教育
——外國語學院學生簽署無作弊承諾書
期末考試臨近，加強考風考紀教育成為我院這一階段學生工作的重點。2007年12月27日，我院黨委副書記何璐老師、團委書記寧睿英老師為07級新生進行了一場“誠信考試”的教育講座。講座旨在提高學生自覺性，自律性，通過學生自我教育達到誠信考試的目的。
講座結束后，各年級學生以班級為單位自覺簽署了考試無作弊承諾書，承諾在期末考試期間，嚴格遵守考試紀律，不做任何違反校規校紀的行為，保證所取得的成績是真實的。
兩年苦讀終結果 答辯會上驗真知
外國語學院舉行2005級教育碩士畢業論文答辯會
? 2007年12月，天津師范大學外國語學院教育碩士畢業論文答辯會如期舉行。2005級的43名學生參加了此次答辯，以研究方向為基準分組進行。
此次答辯會以全面考察學生對英語教學理論、知識研究方法的掌握程度，以及檢驗學生獨立工作能力、實踐能力和綜合分析能力為目的。從答辯會的整體情況看，成績是喜人的，學生專業素質有了較大提高；但也存在一些不足之處，例如學生的知識面較窄，教學實驗數據還不夠充分等。
通過這次答辯會，不僅比較全面地反映了我院的特色辦學水平，也使學生對所學專業有了更深層次的理解，充分展示了我院學生的綜合素質。

2008年1月13日上午，主校區興文樓B216室內氣氛熱烈而隆重，天津師范大學外國語學院2006級教育碩士結業典禮正在舉行。典禮由外國語學院院長顧鋼教授主持。外國語學院負責人與相關教師參加了典禮。? 顧鋼院長對2006級教育碩士順利完成兩年的學業表示祝賀，并對接下來的碩士畢業論文撰寫工作提出了希望和要求。

大外部與測試中心共同努力
公共英語期末考試工作平穩結束
18套試卷（AB卷）的出題工作，兩個年級近9000名學生的考場安排，本學期的公共英語期末考試工作遇到了前所未有的壓力。大外部從06-07學年開始進行了大學英語改革，首次采用分級教學、考試的方法。期末考試時只能由大外部按照英語教學班安排考場，而且各院系的考生都要隨機排考場座位號，巨大的工作量很容易出錯，為了嚴格保障學生能夠正常進行考試，教學辦公室與測試中心兩個部門集思廣益，提前著手聯合編寫了一個程序，只要導入安排考場的細則，系統會自動按照要求隨機分好考場，而且還能自動導出報表，發給老師和各學院便于查詢，這樣既節約了大量的時間而且做到了準確無誤。

Tianjin Foreign Studies University (TFSU) was founded in 1964.
