飛屋環游記(1)
再次在課堂上重溫《飛屋環游記》這部影片，我的內心依然充滿了感動。《紐約時報》評論它為：“會有無數的小孩喜歡這部電影，而大人們也能從中獲得屬于自己的感動。而我也確確實實被這部電影深深感動了。”
影片有兩個主角，一個是78歲的退休氣球零售商老卡爾，另一個是10歲的亞裔小男孩羅素。老卡爾在妻子艾莉去世后，變得孤僻起來，還當起了最牛釘子戶，因為他不肯把地賣給開發商。開發商每天軟磨硬泡，讓他煩躁不已。就在這時候，胖小子羅素找上門來，為了得到一枚幫助老人徽章跟他糾纏不休。老卡爾為了實現艾莉到南美勝地仙境瀑布一游的夢想，用上萬個氣球打造了飛屋，可是上天之后，才發現羅素居然搭了他的順風屋。最初，老卡爾并不喜歡羅素，他自己沒有孩子，所以也不太了解孩子，而且這個胖小孩要求太多，一會兒要收養巨鳥，一會兒又喊累。但逐漸地，兩人成了好朋友。老卡爾和小羅素之間化學反應是這部影片的情感發動機，兩人之間真摯動人的忘年交給這部影片注入了強大的情感力量。只有極少數影片能夠讓人在會心一笑之后，深深地感動，而《飛屋》就是其中之一。
影片開始，卡爾與艾莉，男孩和女孩的相識、男人和女人的相愛、老頭和老太的相依，感謝皮克斯，在不到十分鐘的篇幅里講述了一個平凡溫馨又不失曲折的故事。用迪斯尼的套路來說，這已經可以結束，下面就是happy forever的字幕了。可惜上帝收走了卡爾的肋骨，那個攜手走過多年的人變成了回憶。卡爾和艾莉本是互補的兩塊，前者木訥少言，后者活潑多語，少了艾莉的調和，卡爾愈發的少言寡語，性格也變的古怪，假如沒有一場意外變故，他會像蝸牛一樣在自己的屋子里慢慢化為時間的塵埃。相比卡爾，那個和唐僧有的一拼的紅領巾小胖子更招人喜歡一點。但是隨著劇情的慢慢展開，觀眾發現這個表面光鮮的雞蛋下面也有著無數拼接留下的傷痕，缺少父愛的少年渴望用各種行為來吸引父親的注意。羅素一直掛在胸口的榮譽勛章讓人感到一陣心酸，一排沉甸甸的勛章不是為了五講四美，不是為了十佳杰出，僅僅是為了能見到父親一面。
飛，是人類自古的理想。從最早的將鳥的羽毛沾到身上期望得到飛行的力量，到用爆竹綁在椅子上的奇想，再到萊特兄弟那永載史冊的十二秒。影片中的飛，是通過無數氣球來實現的，這多多少少也和我們童年時候的奇思妙想有關，相信很多觀眾在看到氣球拉起房子的一刻都會會心的一笑——“這種事情，我也幻想過啊”。氣球不但拉起了房子，也帶走了始作俑者卡爾，帶走了躲在屋檐下的羅素，離開城市的喧囂和人世的羈絆，飛向了夢想中的“香格里拉”。陽光透過氣球灑下五彩斑斕的影子，編織出一副如夢又似幻的情景。這一刻，無論是為將要實現夢想而激動無比的卡爾，還是為抓沙錐鳥而莫名其妙被帶上天空的羅素，都獲得了新生。
云的彼端，約定的地方。“Adventure is out there”貫穿了整部影片。查爾斯·曼茨是充滿幻想的少年們的偶像，他的座右銘也自然成為少年的格言。正是這句話，引導著卡爾結識了艾莉，引導著兩人的生活，引導了后來的飛屋歷險
每個人都曾有過一些遠大的不切實際的理想，在成長中，這些理想在現實的沖擊下逐漸淡化，最后只留下一個名字，成為唏噓往事的代名詞。前往并居住在天堂瀑布是卡爾夫婦一生的夢想，雖然事情多有曲折，前往天堂瀑布的時間也一拖再拖，可貴的是他們從來都沒有放棄過這個夢想，哪怕是在艾莉去世后卡爾仍能在千辛萬險后到達目的地。《飛屋環游記》沒有好萊塢大片里拯救世界的魄力場面，沒有國產主旋律影片的高大全形象，沒有韓劇里分分和和拖拖拉拉的愛情催淚彈，就像班得瑞的音樂一樣，云淡風輕，分外迷人與清新。影片之所以能吸引人，是因為它已經超出了動畫的一般印象，不是僅僅是做給兒童的喜劇，而是成年人亦能欣賞和理解的童話，沒有什么比一個堅定的信念和堅貞的承諾更能打動在鋼筋水泥的壓抑下顯得麻木的人性。 畫畫講究畫龍點睛的一筆，而電影后半部的一系列變故就是這點睛之筆。假如卡爾只是簡單的飛到了天堂瀑布邊定居下來，那么電影充其量只能算是創意不錯，并沒有值得升華的地方。
《飛屋環游記》中有兩個主要配角，都是動物。一個是巨鳥凱文，另一個是黃金獵犬道格。凱文是南美洲的一種不會飛的神秘大鳥，它樂觀又調皮，最喜歡吃巧克力，跟羅素第一次見面就成了好朋友，更重要的是，如果沒有它，就不會有老卡爾和羅素在南美的那一大段冒險故事。而黃金獵犬道格，是冒險家蒙茨為捕獲巨鳥而訓練的狗部隊中的一員，因為佩戴了發聲項圈，所以能口吐人言，比起當蒙茨的忠仆來，道格更喜歡的是跟老卡爾和羅素交朋友。這兩個動物角色，都非常的惹人喜愛，尤其是道格，開始的時候有點膽小，后來就變得勇敢起來，尤其是它給惡狗阿爾法裝上恥辱圈那一段，令人感到異常的暢快。其實，在凱文和道格之外，《飛屋》還有個重要配角，也就是老卡爾和妻子艾莉的夢想之地，南美委內瑞拉境內的獨特地貌——大峽谷上的仙境瀑布。
一直隱居在天堂瀑布附近的查爾斯·曼茨則為了抓到凱文不惜一切代價，在崇拜他的卡爾面前搖身一變為大反派。在曼茨要燒毀飛屋時，卡爾放棄了凱文選擇了保護凝聚亡妻思念的屋子。冥冥之中自有天意，在千辛萬苦到達天堂瀑布后，卡爾翻看亡妻留給自己的冒險相冊，他意外的發現了艾莉在這本冒險日志上貼滿了他們幸福的婚后生活照片，以及一段遺言“感謝你帶給我最美好的一生，現在開始你自己的旅程吧，愛你的艾麗”。驀然回首，卡爾和艾莉的夢想雖然一直激勵著他們的生活，但是也逐漸成為生命中的一個包袱，為了這個包袱卡爾甚至放棄了一些本應享受的美好，況且少年時的探險愿望本就包含著一絲“仁者無敵，勇者無畏”的意思，猶如頓悟一般，卡爾不再局限于常年的理想，動身前往曼茨的飛艇救助凱文和羅素。一番決斗后，失去浮力的飛屋緩緩的沒入云層消失不見。雖然帶有一絲留戀，但是卡爾仍舊和羅素說道：“you know,it just a house”此情可待成追憶，只是當時已惘然。多多少少的，卡爾已經實現了當年的諾言，下面就是重新開始屬于自己的生活了。
皮克斯電影的一大王牌是，總能設計出一些出人意料，令人拍案叫絕的細節。在這部《飛屋》里，這樣的細節就比比皆是，比如影片開頭部分的儲錢罐，代表著卡爾和妻子艾莉的夢想，可是每次儲錢罐快要裝滿的時候，就會出現意外事件讓其清零，這就為老卡爾后來的飛屋冒險埋下了伏筆。還有老卡爾的飛屋升到天上不久，他就迷失了方向，這時胖小孩羅素便拿出GPS獻寶，可是他剛炫耀完這寶貝的用處，就失手將它扔到了窗外，也就是說，他們不可能用它導航了，這一細節勝在喜劇效果十足。此外還有那些狗脖子上的高科技項圈，既是定位通訊裝置，又能讓狗說人話，一舉解決了狗不能與人類溝通的一大難題。甚至就連老卡爾手杖上的四個網球，本來毫不起眼，卻也在關鍵時刻發揮了奇妙的作用。
老卡爾失去了飛屋得到了飛艇，小羅素贏得了亦父亦友的感情，本應墜毀的飛屋奇跡般的降落在了天堂瀑布旁。這是劇中人物的涅盤，也是皮克斯式的happy ending。

Muntz: They called me a fraud, those...But once I bring back this creature, my name will be cleared. Beautiful, isn"t it? Oh, I"ve spent a lifetime tracking it. Sometimes, years go by between seeings. I"ve tried to smoke it out of that death land where it lives. Can"t go in after it. Once in, there"s no way out. I lost so many dogs. Here they come those bandits who think the bird is theirs to take! But they soon found that this mountain is a very dangerous place.
Russell: Hey, that looks like Kevin!
Muntz: Kevin?
Russell: Yeah, that"s my new giant pet bird! I trained it to follow us.
Muntz: Follow you? Impossible. How?
Russell: She likes chocolate.
Muntz: Chocolate?
Russell: Yeah. I gave her some of my chocolate. She goes wild about it.
Mr. Fredricksen: But it ran off. Let"s go now.
Muntz: You know, Carl... these people who pass through here they all tell pretty good stories. A surveyor making a map...a botanist cataloguing plants...an old man taking his house to Paradise Falls. That"s the best one yet, I can"t wait to hear how it ends.
Mr. Fredricksen: Well, it"s been a wonderful evening, but we"d better be going.
Muntz: You"re not leaving.

它是戛納電影節60年來第一部動畫開幕影片，它是極為罕見的在大銀幕上以老人為主角的動畫片，它是皮克斯四年磨一劍的第一部3D動畫片，它是2010年奧斯卡最佳動畫長片，它就是《up》（《飛屋環游記》）。這部影片在今天的好萊塢動畫節令人耳目一新，卓爾不群，但是出自皮克斯之手又讓這一切都在情理之中。皮克斯的一貫追求就是除了用輕松幽默的故事來娛樂觀眾外，要用真摯的情感去感動觀眾。皮克斯總喜歡選擇生活中熟悉的人、物、事來講述故事，他們可能渺小如如一只小老鼠（《料理鼠王》、小玩具（《玩具總動員》）、小丑魚（《海底總動員》）《小機器人》（《機器人瓦力》），就算曾經無限風光，也只能是普通上班族（《超人特工隊》），但是就是這些小人物卻迸發出了生命的奇跡，這也無怪乎他們有勇氣選擇一個70歲得老人作為第一部3D影片的主人公了。
1 變化中的觀眾定位
《飛屋環游記》的制作成本是1.75億美元，雖然比皮克斯上一部作品《機器人瓦力》的1.8億少了一點，但也足以說得上是一部大制作，而技術上的3D突破也意味著這將是皮克斯精心打造的品牌之作，絕不能有半點疏忽。如果綜合以上種種因素，就不能不佩服皮克斯的勇氣。一個老人通過飛翔再度燃燒生命，這放在電影中或許可以，但是動畫片？且別說作為動畫片觀眾主體的兒童，青少年觀眾也未必感興趣，如果將這部分觀眾排除在外，票房損失自不用說，也會降低皮克斯在這部分觀眾中的品牌號召力。但如果我們回顧皮克斯以往的作品，就會發現他們的選擇還是有理有據的。
皮克斯的上一部作品是2009年的《機器人瓦力》，這部影片贏得了票房口碑的雙贏，并獲得了奧斯卡最佳動畫長片獎。這部被評論者稱為“卓別林和庫布里克相會于皮克斯”的影片獲獎一點都不奇怪，獨特討巧的形象設計、感人至深的情感內涵、思考人類命運的人文

關懷精神，都使其已經超越了一部動畫片能夠承載的深度和廣度，直接一點說這就是沖著奧斯卡去的。因為每年好萊塢都會拿出一批具有相當水準的動畫大作，而迪斯尼、夢工廠的競爭一直都是業界焦點，如果沒有內涵深度，緊靠視覺奇觀和曲折離奇的故事，是很難獲得小金人的青睞的，從這一點說，《機器人瓦力》的確實至名歸。但是相較于我們印象中的動畫片來說，這部影片敘事節奏相對緩慢，大量的劇情沒有對白，僅僅依靠表情和動作來推進，而這部影片的主人公瓦力和伊娃是機器人，又不像動物或者人那樣有豐富和夸張的動作和表情，因此對兒童或者理解能力還未成熟的觀眾來說，是巨大的考驗，他們未必有耐心將影片看完。而其對人類未來命運的思考也未必是他們感興趣的話題，所以這部影片票房能贏得如此高的票房值得我們思考，我們從中至少可以推斷：一、觀眾對這樣不同于傳統的動畫片是有一定接受力的，或者即使得不到部分青少年觀眾的喜愛，也是可以通過擴展成人觀眾市場撐起票房的；二、隨著時代的發展和傳播媒介的多樣化、廣泛和開放，青少年可能已不滿足于喧囂一片的熱鬧型的動畫片，開始轉變口味，期待既可以享受到動畫片的想象力，又能獲得情感和思想提升。所以《飛屋環游記》的到來也算順理成章。
該片的導演之一鮑勃·彼得森表示，他們的創意總是來自于制作者的個人經驗，都是來自于生活。他們一直認為故事要來自于內心，只有這樣影片才能真正的感人，而這正是我們在制作這部電影過程中最艱難的事情。他引用迪斯尼創始人沃爾特·迪斯尼的話說，“每個笑聲都應該是有淚水的”， 當他聽到這個故事的時候，他就在想我們可以把這個電影做的非常搞笑，他們可以把畫面做的漂亮，但那只是他們要挑戰的主題的一部分，他相信他們這個電影會是一部非常不同的電影，它豐富而感人。從主創者的描述中我們可以得出，他們對影片的基本定位是“不同”和“感人”，或者說這種不同正是由于感人，二者互為因果。可以說這是《機器人瓦力》提供的經驗，與傳統的差異和情感力量的深邃能夠滿足變化中觀眾口味，使影片走向成功。但必須考慮的是，《機器人瓦力》還具有另外一個天然保護傘，其主人公本身就是一個模型，衍生品市場會是另一個巨大的收益，所以相比皮克斯當初就想好退路，萬一票房成績不佳，衍生品至少可以降低損失。但是《飛屋環游記》顯然不具有衍生品開發的優勢，哪個孩子愿意買一個七十多歲的老頭子玩呢？這種觀眾定位的考慮直接影響了影片的敘事方式。
2 錯位的敘事鏈條
許多看過《飛屋》成人的觀眾都表示，他們更喜歡影片的前半段，也就是卡爾和妻子從青梅竹馬到走入婚姻、最終雖然相伴一生但仍難免孤身一人段落，這占到了整部影片時長的五分之一，是影片的開端。從時間上來講，這并沒有違背一部典型的劇情片的基本規律，但是從情感體驗上來講，這本來是要作為鋪墊使用的開端卻將觀眾的情緒一開始就推向了高潮，感動于卡爾和妻子間熾熱深沉的情感，感傷與卡爾的老無所依。尤其是影片中

的經典段落，即運用高超的視聽技巧、大量豐富細膩的細節去展現時光變遷中二人生命的互相依存，簡潔而深具表現力。這就給創作者提供了巨大的難度，以后的故事要怎么走才能將觀眾的情緒推到比開場還高的層次，如何用情節的高潮帶動情感的高潮？
正當觀眾以為這會是一部完全“不同”的動畫片時，影片從20分鐘開始，進入了好萊塢動畫片常規的敘事體系，運用一老一小這種好萊塢電影中屢試不爽的經典搭配，講述了一次爺倆的冒險經歷。飛揚跋扈的惡人、改邪歸正的幫助者、茫然不知世事艱險的“寶物”，都是動畫片中的常見元素。盡管創作者使出了渾身解數，尋找各種可能性使其與前面的敘事鏈條銜接，而且將這種銜接完全壓在了情感鏈上，比如把胖小孩拉塞爾設定為一個父愛缺失的孩子，而卡爾是沒有孩子的，這樣觀眾會自覺為他們倆搭建情感鏈，無形間二人的情感深度被加強、放大。但是無論怎樣努力，都無法制造超越常規敘事線索的超越性的情感力量。觀眾在故事高潮——智斗壞人、成功返航中所獲得的情感體驗是無法和前二十分鐘相比的，因為這在很多動畫片中都可以感受到。表面上看來，前二十分鐘的“情”與后八十分鐘的“事”存在著明顯的斷裂，但這恰恰說明了皮克斯的聰明之處。有《瓦力》的珠玉在前，《飛物》不但不能肆無忌憚，反而需要更加謹慎，更何況《飛物》后期市場的開發處于弱勢已是不爭的事實，如果不能抓住兒童和青少年觀眾，那么不僅可能在票房表現上不理想，更會降低皮克斯這一品牌在這部分觀眾中的信任度，因此影片的主體部分皮克斯仍選擇了好萊塢動畫片的常規敘事模式，而其想追求的“不同”和“感人”也達到了目的。但也只有藝高人膽大才能冒這種風險，即使敘事鏈條可能錯位、前后風格不完美統一，也依然能保證影片不失為一部經典作品，只能仰賴于一點，就是觀眾對于其“不同”具有足夠高的認可度，即使只看前面的二十分鐘也值回票價，而皮克斯用影片的成功證明了這一點。
3 笑中帶淚的情感內涵
《飛屋》的獨特性到底在哪里，換句話說它對好萊塢動畫電影的突破在什么地方》？在我看來就是通過卡爾這一多層面的角色塑造，推進了動畫片對人類情感和生存理念表達的深度，使動畫片既可以像其他視聽藝術那樣完全走入成人世界，又能利用動畫的特性獲得超乎尋常的視聽享受，這無疑將大大拓展動畫作品的思路。
若說《飛屋》的情感內涵，可以歸結為一句話：這是一部一個人在求死的過程尋找到生活勇氣和生命希望的故事。影片前二十分鐘創作者之所以要把情感鋪墊的那么充分，是想把飛翔變成卡爾生命的最后一擊，這是卡爾與自己人生和解的唯一機會，如果錯過他將失去所有，即使活著，但靈魂已然死去。而這最后一擊如果在現實世界中，無疑會像自殺一樣慘烈，但是卻在動畫的想象中，變成了一個浪漫的場景。影片后半段，卡爾在與拉賽爾的相處中，找到了他一生向往但卻不可得的父子親情；在與惡人的搏斗中，重拾了信心和力量，他不是一個無用的、對生活沒有任何操控能力的老人；從改邪歸正的小狗身上，看到了只要不懈努力就能改變命運的奇跡。卡爾是現代社會許多小人物的縮影，我們終將和卡爾一樣面臨親人逝去、摯愛遠離，當覺得靈魂都已經被抽離出身體，生命還有沒有存在的意義，卡爾用他的執著、堅定給了我們肯定的答案。引領他尋找生命自由之地的，是妻子，逼迫他放棄他曾經認生命中最重要東西的，是拉塞爾，去世的人與在世的一起，使他和生命達成了和解。皮克斯金牌制作人約翰·拉塞特表示，影片中有兩個地方讓他非常感動，一處是影片開始的部分，卡爾和他妻子一生

生活中的一些細節，另外就是在影片最后，卡爾看著自己的房子逐漸飄向遠方，而他終于明白了他和妻子走過的一生本身就是一場最棒的歷險。這的確是這部影片最動人的場景之一，影片中卡爾一直執著地將飛屋看成是他和妻子生命聯系的最后標志，所以無論如何不肯放手，而這也無形中成為了他的包袱。而此刻當飛屋真正遠去，再也無法觸摸時，他終于明白只有放下，才能繼續體會生命的美好。
《飛屋》讓人體會了含淚微笑的滋味，也預示了動畫片發展的多種可能性。而如何通過對觀眾口味的準確把握來進行作品定位，同時開拓更多樣化的藝術表現空間，是值得我們深思的問題。

The film critic of UP
Have you ever met with a girl who was brave and encourage and shouted at you “I like you”；Have you ever came across a boy who with a round face , stand by and support you whenever and whatever happened ? Did you remembered that flying in the sky was your pure dream when you were a little child ?
From day to day , we grew up and began to believe that we can fulfill our dream and touch the sky . There is no doubt that we can walk from one place to another place,travel all around the world . However ,we had to cope with the situation which consume much of our energy and time ,and that we can’t focus on our pure dream when the age was increasingly . Our youth ，happiness ,and passion were recorded in the deserted diary . Even if the world becomes more and more prosperous , there has nothing to do with us when we are older.
Burdensome books , dark movies , low musics , life seems like that disappointed and meaningless . Somebody says that we should be a smart person because that the male is undependable meanwhile the female is not credible . Moreover,a lot of people hold that love is like a cup of poisoned wine and marriage is like a game of desperate adventure . Therefore,less and less people believe that there is true love in the world.
Thanks to UP , the warming movie , it tells us that love is still here.
UP focuses on 78-year old man who called Carl Fredrickson’s life, who had a dream of going on a journey to South American , to see the wilds of it . And then he bought thousands of balloons which were attached to his house so that the house can float up in the sky.
There is no doubt that he started his journey in the sky by the house . Of course ,he was not alone , a lovely with a roung face and warmhearted child Russell wanted to help him and asked for traveling with him . Carl invited the lovely boy to go with him and they really had a happy and meaningful time.
What a brilliant ang simple story-telling ,beautiful visuals as usual as Pixar , awesome voice work , funny and smart dialogue . Speaking of the characters,we can’t help thinking about the dogs.
UP is the most interesting movie of Pixar’s.It was emotional and warm at times , like WALL-E,is full of emotion and funny proportions . It was really an amazing movie I have ever seen.
This was overall just an excellent movie . There is nothing negative that I have to say about this movie , then I will just jump into a few of the things that I really liked about .
First of all , Doug and Kevin were so charming . To be frank , the entire movie is amazing . The movements of the bird were brave , the dogs were funny and lovely all the same time.
The beginning of the movie was a bit more dark than I was expected to be , but it the rest of the story are so well. I felt like that this was an animated movie, there were a lot of meaningful things and factors we can watch . We can see that there were many really hard-hitting moments, at the early part of the movie .
Secondly ,the only negative thing is that some of the events occurred once was little bit predictable. However , it was still interesting . None of the movie like filler or boring for even a second from the opening .
Up is definitely one of the best movie of Pixar efforts to make . It"s about the excitement of flight and adventure. First of the ten minutes of the film is about Carl Fredricksen and his life-long love Ellie which are surprisingly touching. It"s heartbreaking to see Carl lose his wife even at old age. With nothing left to do , Fredricksen heads for South America, and he"s not alone. Russell, a Wilderness Explorer trying to earn his "Assisting the Elderly" badge, has stowed away on the porch after being sent on a hunt by Carl the day before. The relationship of father and son that forms between Fredricksen and Russell is completely believable. Several scenes in Up are memorable that I"ve ever seen in animated films. Like other Pixar films Up is also very funny. Thankfully, it"s sweet humor instead of the humor that"s present in many of today"s Hollywood films.
Up is good enough to be included in arguments about which Pixar film is best, although I would still fight for Ratatouille, myself. Is Up a children"s film with side jokes for adults, a family film, or a film that"s made for grownups but has many elements that children also can enjoy? At times it seems to fit in any of these categories as well as others -- it would be a great date film -- but ultimately it boils down to being a very good movie that defies demographic categorization. In other words, if you"re old enough to sit quietly through a feature film, go see it.
