Some hold that a vast number of teachers can ensure the sufficiency of education resources, but the opponents cast doubt on this statement. From my perspective, my preference goes to facilities due primarily to the trend of less reliance on teachers and increasing function of technological devices.

                    When it refers to whether people should be similar or different with others, the discussion over this issue provokes widespreadconcern among individuals and in the society asa whole. Some hold that success belongs to those minorities who are different from others,but the opponents cast doubt on this statement. From my perspective, my preference goes to being more like others due primarily to the fact that it is an easier way to learn experience from others and shield the hostility from others.

                    關鍵提示:填空部分要把握好“度”,不能太空洞,簡單重復,也不能太啰嗦太細節。概括地寫出實質的點就對了。

                    1. ?熟悉和理解4大評分標準是高分關鍵

                    評分標準1:effectively addresses the writing topic and task.

                    要求考生有效地闡明主題,考生千萬不要跑題。從筆者的教學經驗看,考生全部跑題現象較少,但是局部跑題現象十分嚴重,這也是考生不能輕取高分的緣故。

                    評分標準2:well organized and well developed

                    邏輯條理清楚,發展充分。每次作者在講寫作時總是把它和閱讀相對照。各位考生要想拿到獨立寫作滿分必須真正理解“八股文”的結構,千萬不要寫中國式的“八股文”,而應寫出“美式八股文”。

                    評分標準3:uses specific details and examples to support you view

                    考生的論據一定要具體、明確,且對論點有支持作用,而不能空洞和泛泛而談。

                    評分標準4:displays language facility by demonstrating syntactic variety, word choice and idiom.(通過譴詞造句和習慣表達來展示語言的熟練程度)

                    這一點是各位考生經常忽視,迷惘和不清楚的一點。新托福作文占總分120分的30分。我們對大家的要求是在作文上花的時間既要少又要拿高分,至少28分。凡是想拿到28分甚至滿分以上的同學一定要注意此項評分標準。能用first千萬不要用firstly,能用finally千萬不要用last but not least.不少同學花了很多功夫背這一外國人都不用的詞組,能用常用的詞千萬不要用偏詞,同時我們要熟練掌握ETS喜歡的5大語法結構和2種從句。

                    作文要不要寫?當然要寫,但我建議考生不要寫的太多,寫一篇要像一篇,最好讓行家改2-3篇。我曾經碰到一個學生把185篇中的180篇均寫了。拿給我看,結果同樣的錯誤在184篇均反復出現,讓我哭笑不得。學托福需要勤奮,但像這種勤奮就等于浪費青春歲月。

                    作文要不要背?最好不要通篇背,可以背一些經典的句型。倘若真要背,一定要認準此篇作文是范文的情況下才能背。

                    這4個評分標準哪條更重要?這主要取決于考生對作文考分的期望值。若要考滿分,此4點均重要。千萬不能跑題,一跑題可就是0分了。考試費也就白交了。

                   二、新托福獨立寫作模板

                    注意:模板是死的,人是活的。文章的開頭最好自己寫。按照課上所講的句式,怎么寫都可以,只要保證正確,有一定的語法結構(如:從句,同位語,插入語等)

A fence that blocks the advance of the toads will prevent them from moving into those parts of Australia that they have not yet colonized. This approach has been used before: a national fence was erected in the early part of the twentieth century to prevent the spread of rabbits, another animal species that was introduced in Australia from abroad and had a harmful impact on its native ecosystems.

                  Second, the toads could be captured and destroyed by volunteers. Cane toads can easily be caught in simple traps and can even be captured by hand. Young toads and cane toad eggs are even easier to gather and destroy, since they are restricted to the water. If the Australian government were to organize a campaign among Australian citizens to join forces to destroy the toads, the collective effort might stop the toad from spreading.

                  Third, researchers are developing a disease-causing virus to control the cane toad populations. This virus will be specially designed: although it will be able to infect a number of reptile and amphibian species, it will not harm most of the infected species; it will specifically harm only the cane toads. The virus will control the population of cane toads by preventing them from maturing and reproducing.

                  The cane toad won’t be as easy to get rid of as the reading suggests. The measures proposed by the reading are likely either to be unsuccessful or to cause unwanted environmental damage.

                  First of all, a national fence probably won’t stop the spread of the toad. That’s because young toads and toad eggs are found in rivers and streams. No matter where the fence is located, at some point there will be rivers or streams flowing from one side to the other. These waterways will be able to carry the young toads and their eggs to the other side. Since it’s only necessary for a few young toads or eggs to get through the fence in order to establish population on the other side, the fence is unlikely to be effective.

                  Secondly, a massive group of volunteers could have success trapping and destroying toads. But it’s likely that these untrained volunteers would inadvertently destroy many of Australia’s native frogs. Some of which are endangered. It’s not always easy to tell the cane toad apart from native frogs especially when it’s young.

                  Third, using the virus is a bad idea because it could have terrible consequences for cane toads in their original habitat in Central and South America. You might be wondering how can a virus released in Australia cause harm in the America. Well, Australian reptiles and amphibians are often transported to other continents by researchers or pet collectors for example. Once the animals infected by the virus reach Central and South America, the virus will attack the native cane toads and devastate their populations. That would be and ecological disaster because in the America cane toads are a native species and a vital part of the ecosystem. So if they are eliminated, the whole ecosystem will suffer.

                  Salvage logging

                  The reading and the listening present opposite views on salvage logging. The reading agrees that it benefits both a damaged forest and the economy while the listening provides several counterarguments to this view. (argues it can cause longer-term environmental damage and its economic benefits are also questionable)

                  First, the passage supports that salvage logging can help forest areas recover from the disaster by making room for the new trees. However, the speaker challenges that salvage logging does not create the right conditions for tree growth. Rapid removal of dead trees can make soil lacks the nutrients necessary for growth because wood decomposition enriches the soil.

                  Second, the lecture disagrees with the claim in the reading passage that salvage logging boosts the health of the forest by minimizing the dangers of insect infestation because decaying wood is a suitable habitat for insects such as the spruce bark beetle. She argues that salvage logging can bring more harm to forests than harmful insects do because spruce bark beetles have not caused major damage to the forest. And dead trees are also used by birds and other insects that can benefit long-term health of forests.

                  Finally, although the author believes salvage logging has economic benefits of providing wood for industries and creating jobs for local people, the professor challenges that the economic benefits are small and temporary because sometimes it has to use vehicles that are expensive to use and maintain. Also, jobs created by salvage logging are only temporary and are often taken by outsiders with more experience or training than local residents have.
