英國桑德蘭大學排名、入學條件
桑德蘭大學是英國公立大學，是一所歷史悠久的綜合性大學。學校地處英格蘭東北部桑德蘭市，附近的機場有紐卡斯卡機場，交通便利，生活治安良好。英國桑德蘭大學在2013年的時報排名50位，衛報是80名，在英國大學中的整體排名是非常不錯的。
桑德蘭大學下設有藝術設計與傳媒學院，商學與法律學院，應用科學學院，教育與社會學學院四個學院組成，學校開設的專業非常之多，涵蓋的專業有商科、計算機、工程學、法律、旅游、心理學等專業。學校每年都吸引了很多海內外的學生來校就讀，目前共有2萬多名學生，其中有2000多名來自韓國、馬來西亞等亞洲國家的學生，以及非洲和歐盟的學子。

課程設置以及入讀要求：
桑德蘭大學入學靈活，學校設有英文語言課、本科預科、碩士預科、語言銜接課程以及大學專業課程。如果學生申請學校但是雅思成績沒達到學校要求，只需要達到雅思4.5分就可以申請先入讀學校的語言課，但是一定要達到雅思4.5分，因為這關系到學生簽證辦理，英國留學簽證是對學生語言也就是雅思是有要求的，如果沒有就不好辦理學生簽證了。通常桑德蘭大學的專業課語言要求是雅思6分，如果學生只有4.5分是要讀15周的英文課程。學校的英文課是劃分為：
4.5——5.0——5.5——6，每個級別是5周的學習時間。

桑德蘭大學擁有自己的校內宿舍，通常是一人一個房間，設備環境良好。基本上學生在申請CAS的時候可以申請校內宿舍，因為在學校入學高峰期的時候，都是先到先得。如果學生一開始就沒打算住校的話要寫份聲明需要家長簽字。一般國際學生一年的生活費大約是8萬人民幣，加上學費一起總共是15萬人民幣左右，這樣的留學費用還是比較低廉的。
學校特色：
學校開設了專升本課程，國內自考、成人大專文憑學歷可以申請桑德蘭大學的專升本課程，學生只需要讀1年就可以拿到本科學歷。倘若學生是跨專業申請本科，是需要進行評估看看學生國內所讀的課程是否有和學校的課程有銜接，如果沒有的話，可能要重新開始從本科讀起。
學校在指定的時間會有提供免費的接機服務，這個接機服務跟新加坡的不大一樣，是學生拿著錄取通知書自己打的到學校。此外，學校還開設了免費的語言課，學生可以利用業余時間學習中文、法語等其他外語，學習好的話可以納入為學分。
桑德蘭大學的學生在到校之后要進行注冊，到英國讀書的學生還需要在入境英國的7天內到警局在校內的點進行注冊才行，另外學校也會安排學生到銀行開戶，方便學生生活。英國留學不同于新加坡，對于學生打工有嚴格的限制，英國學校的學生每周是有20個小時的工作時間，學生可以利用閑暇的時間打工，通常學生工作集中在餐飲業、美甲等服務行業。
學生被學校錄取之后，需要支付50%的學費給學校，這里建議學生采用匯票的形式給到學校，以防萬一如果學生簽證方面拒簽要給學生退還這部分學費。如果學生提供虛假材料造成簽證拒簽學校是不予退還這部分學費的，而且提供虛假材料被拒后，該學生十年內都不能入境英國。如果學生不是因為自身的材料被拒，學校可以繼續幫學生申請簽證。
