本品系以板蘭根、藿香、連翹、蘆根、生地、郁金等中藥為原料，用科學方法精心研制而成。是實施新藥審批法以來通過的，第一個用于治療病毒性疾患的純中藥新藥。

性狀本品為棕紅色液體，味辛，微苦。
功能與主治抗病毒藥。功效清熱祛濕，涼血解毒，用于治療風熱感冒、瘟病發熱及上呼吸道感染、流感、腮腺炎等病毒感染疾患。
用法與用量口服，一次10ml，一日2～3次，宜飯后服用，小兒酌減。
注意事項臨床癥狀較重，病程較長或合并有細菌感染的患者應加服其他治療藥物。
