                  My stay in the rainforest

                  Last year, I left my job and went to Borneo to work without pay in the rainforest. So many people have said to me, "I would love to do something like that," and I say, "If you want to, just do it." They always reply, "l can"t." But, if you really want to do it, there are ways to make it happen.

                  After three day"s training, I started work on an environmental project with a group of young people. The accommodation was very basic and we had to build our own place to sleep. This consisted of a simple bed, a cloth roof and a net to keep insects (昆蟲) out.

                  It was never dangerous there, but it was very challenging (挑戰的). There were things that we didn"t think we would manage to do, but we did. I had some of my worst moments there, but also some of my best - it made me feel alive. I didn"t miss my home comforts as much as I"d thought I might. We had food, water, somewhere to stay, about three sets of clothes and really good conversation. We were in the most beautiful place and we had things to keep us busy. We didn"t need any more.

I was always thinking about shoes, but really none of that matters. Here, people accept me for who I am, what I believe and think, not for what kind of clothes I"ve got."                   1 一教授在課堂上問:世界第一高峰是哪座?大家脫口而出:珠穆朗瑪峰。又問:世界第二高峰呢?臺下一片沉默。這種“記得第一,遺忘第二”的現象,乃至由此衍生的“只認第一,不認第二”心理,在我們的社會上還較為廣泛地存在著。這在一定程度上影響了人們的行為選擇。

                  2 我們常說“不想當元帥的士兵不是好士兵”,但也不是所有的士兵都能當元帥。當我們不能成為“第一”時,是否甘為“第二”?“第二”究竟具有什么樣的價值?自然界中,在胡蜂憑借“身高馬大”襲擊蜜蜂蜂巢時,一只工蜂會沖上去死死纏住它,更多的工蜂則會緊跟而上,工蜂最終靠集體力量戰勝胡蜂。第一只沖上去的工蜂格外可敬,但其他工蜂的壯舉同樣可貴。毫無疑問,正是眾多“第二”,成全和光大了“第一”的價值,共同鋪就了通向勝利的道路。

                  時下全社會都在忽悠“不要讓孩子輸在起跑線上”,這起跑線無非就是那些奇貨可居的教育資源而已,而正因為這一畸形扭曲的教育思維,最終被利欲熏心唯利是圖的形形色色教育機構利用,成了名符其實的詐錢機器,當然忽悠的是那些可憐孩子家長的錢,從中考、再到小升初、再到現在如北京的幼升小,還有各種只要你能想象得到的從幼兒到高中生培訓機構。但象北京這樣,幼升小都能收到數萬到25萬的擇校費,則實屬登峰造極了,能拿出25萬來上所謂的重點小學,絕非一般工薪階層所能仰望,最終也只能拼爹了,反正如今也是個拼爹的時代,原以為一般只是就業或辦事需要拼爹,沒曾想上個小學也需要拼爹,真是令人感嘆。

                  關于日新的老師。孫老師挺好的.我是第一屆的家長,難得逛到這兒.孫老師是我兒子的班主任,他超喜歡孫老師,我的印象里他們全班都喜歡孫老師. 孫老師對他們的學業要求很嚴格,批評人也很歷害.但兒子說,"我們有好的孫老師也會表揚我們,孫老師很公平,所以我們都喜歡她,

                  我是大學老師,孩子在這里長大的,孩子很喜歡。現在到中學去了,但孩子還常常懷念小學,教師節是一定要去看老師的。我最大的印象是學校的孩子非常陽光,老師真正愛孩子。我的孩子在中學學得很輕松,這不得不歸于小學的基礎。這是一所越久你會越覺得它好的學校!

                  關于日新的作業量。本學期學校似乎在控制作業量,前兩天學校開放日還發了問卷給我們填。我孩子這個學期作業基本上7點前就完成,每天彈鋼琴時間充裕,有時還會看看電視。學校作業不多,但作業要求很高,做得不好要重做,所以孩子不敢馬虎。這個學校老師的水平挺高的,校長很有想法很大器。

                  關于閔行區實驗小學。閔行區實驗小學,是區重點小學,分為兩個校區。莘松校區,辦學特色是雙語類、語文類、科技類);春城校區,辦學特色是雙語、科技類。整體還是挺不錯的,發展比較均衡,感覺沒有短板。

                  關于學校贊助費。2個校區的回答都很官方,不是所屬片區的說是不行,贊助費號稱說是公立學校不能收,所以即使是出贊助費這種話也不能明說的,要找個認識的人搭線。大概是在2萬-3.5萬,當然,可以看無上限。

                  關于教學質量。閔行區實驗小學的教育質量是較高的,在閔行區里算較好的學校,春城校區和總部比有些差距,但落差不是很大。師資是不會缺的,您放心好了,每個學校總會找一些新老師的!!

                  關于老師。我是這個學校的學生,學校條件和裝潢春城校區更好,老師就是太兇了,要懲罰學生,有些時候很傷自尊心。

                  關于老師:他們的老師很負責人,而且和家庭、社區的聯系非常緊密。假期都有老師到社區來進行服務。

                  幼升小的新生:我的孩子薔薇2012年的新生。學校前段時間組織了"幼小銜接、今天起步"為主題的2012屆一年級新生學前教育活動。我覺得這種活動挺好的,孩子對未來的學校充滿好奇,我也對學校充滿信心。

                  關于食堂:孩子很喜歡吃食堂的菜,真實奇怪,回來老是說,媽媽,你做的菜沒有食堂的好吃。

                  關于學費:300元/人。但是也需要相關的贊助費,家長自己懂得。

                  關于學校網站:這個網站上的資料都不準確,誤導家長。連民辦學校和公辦學校的資料都是混淆的。網站工作者至少要把眾所周知的資料核對準確,再上傳吧!

                  關于課外活動。我挺喜歡我們學校的,好多課外活動,暑假里面,還會引導家長給我們適合的暑期安排。

                  關于學校硬件設施和食堂。上海理工大學附屬小學,也算是歷史悠久的老學校了,學校的教學設施,看著也很現代化,但是弱弱的問一句,為什么食堂每天的飯菜都冷冰冷冰的,去添飯的時候,食堂總是沒有了,添不到,大冬天的,對孩子生長太不好了嘛,還是希望學校領導能夠重視一下,畢竟,身體才是革命的本錢嘛。希望孩子在這里快樂學習,健康成長 。

                  關于教學質量。學校真的不錯,我的孩子就是里面的,老師教學水平不錯,認真負責,只是相對來說,課程進度快,孩子壓力也不小。

                  關于課外活動。我挺滿意理工附小的,因為學校經常都在組織課外活動。看電影啊,博物館,科技館,夏令營啊等等,老師也會引導孩子在課外多去參加各種有趣的活動,增加閱歷。我覺得這樣挺好的,小孩子嘛,就是應該在玩樂中成長的,這樣才能有快樂的童年。

                  關于教學,比較刻板。同濟小學,整體中規中矩,但正是這種中規中矩,造成學校的教學比較刻板。里面的學生都是呆頭呆腦的,死讀書、讀死書成為了一種教條。不適合頑皮的孩子,容不下古靈精怪,容不下個性發展。

                  關于學生生源。同濟大學職工孩子的學校。進入同濟小學,門檻其實挺高的,幼升小也傷不起,但是,對同濟大學的職工孩子來說,這就是他們開的學校,想來就來,想走就走。孩子內心的優越感強,孩子互相之間容易有摩擦,傷害自尊心,小朋友之間的關系,不是非常的和諧。

                  關于孩子間的攀比心。孩子與孩子之間攀比心理 強。孩子之間的攀比心太重了,我這個當媽的,有些時候都很別扭,讀書也要拼媽的。每到節假日,孩子總會說,媽媽,你給老師買貴一點的禮物吧。

                  關于老師的教學。老師關注孩子的學習,也關注孩子的成長。我女兒已經三年級了,和老師同學關系都挺好的,成績也不錯。老師有講故事課,會引導孩子一些正確的交友和生活原則。我覺得這樣挺好的,很多時候,家長都忽略到了,還是老師心細。

                  姚老師,你改改吧。數學 姚老師,一直以來,喜歡傷同學的自尊,只要是不入她眼的同學。學生今后的路還長著呢,不要把同學看扁了。請口下積德!!

                  數學姚老師喜歡諷刺,挖苦,打擊同學。聽說曾經在鞍山 實驗做過教導主任,是真的嗎?

                  這個姚老師,真的是個極品女。她體罰學生很厲害,錯一道計算題罰一百道。考卷要做二十幾張。

                  初二數學y老師不好,喜歡指桑罵槐,喜歡傷同學自尊。喜歡排名次。尤其是傷同學自尊。還是黨員,怎么這樣的?老是把教過多少學生掛在嘴上。

                  上音很多老師罵人很厲害的,罵同學腦子有毛病,豬玀,天很冷戰在外面挨凍等等是經常的。姓施的還要動手打人,上音老師素質很差的,除了教語文的老師們修養好,其他都沒法說的。只有到教育 局去說。豬萍為了追求升學 率這些都視而不見的。姓包的整天講品牌的學校,品牌的老師真是道貌岸然啊!

                  上音副課老師都好的,體育景老師就很好。我們初二六班的林老師也不錯。

                  關于上音的放學時間:這個學校一般都不會準時放學的,說好4:30分放學了,但是呢,老師會把你們留到5點6點鐘。復課很少,一直會被拿掉。吃的飯菜都比別的學校少,但還要付6元,更甭吃不飽。秋游和春游都比別的學校要晚,希望大家不要來這個學校。來了會讓孩子吃苦頭的。

                  關于上音的評價:上音本來就不好。班主任像什么。勞技,科學都要會考的。但我們呢,一個學期連2節都沒有。叫我們怎么考?也有同學說,說句實在話,學校還是不錯,伙食還是可以的,但有極個別的老師不怎么樣,有粗話,素質也不太好一位數學老師),作業量很大,但是老師又來不及批改,造成做了也不知對或錯。

                  關于學校。各方面都不錯的學校,我認為,在楊浦排前十名肯定沒有問題,而且是包括在私立學校里面。也有家長說,能排第幾,沒有真正去衡量過,但是學校的教學水平,老師的教學態度和對孩子的態度,真的不錯。

                  關于作業。二聯真的是一個好學校。老師和家長之間的互動比較頻繁,溝通比較順暢,也為孩子創造到一個更加好的環境。但是,孩子的作業,真的好多。有時候都很心疼,我們大人還可以雙休,孩子,哎,休都不能休吧。也有家長表示,雖然心疼孩子,覺得作業太多,不過,也沒辦法,都怕輸在了起跑線。
